Finding Good Sofas
Shopping around for the best options
As chaise sofas become more and more popular, people become curious where the best places are to find high quality options. The good news is that these sofas are almost pervasive now, with every major retailer offering a decent selection of styles. As such, you are pretty safe going to any major furniture outlet in your area and seeing what they have. However, here are a few recommendations to help narrow your search and find the best options available.
Ikea is pretty reliable for offering a great selection of chaise sofas. In fact, the chaise sofa seems to be their trademark item because every room in the store seems to have at least one as part of its collection. In truth, I'm not a big fan of the Ikea offerings as I've never found them comfortable, but if you like them, they have a great selection. For their lack of comfort, they make up for it in variety and quantity.
Pottery Barn offers a wide selection of furniture styles that can make your mouth water. With a few great chaise sofa selections, the only downside of Pottery Barn is that their prices can sometimes be a bit high. It can also be hard to find their selection in the local stores, so you might be stuck going online to find their options. Still, if you're looking for style and strong name, you can't beat Pottery Barn.
Lastly, furniture chains that are local to a specific region can be great. From Bob's Discount Furniture in the Northeast to Havertys Furniture in the Northwest, these can often be your best options as their prices are typically fairly competitive. While they don't seem to have the same diversity in wares, their prices are hard to dismiss.
Overall, I would try every store to see if you can find what's right for you. Finding a comfortable, good looking chaise sofa can be a challenge so it's worth putting some work into it. Let us know where you got yours and what you thought of it.
